Peer Review Policy

KJIRSS operates a double-blind peer review process to ensure academic rigour, impartiality, and integrity. The review process consists of the following stages:

  1. Initial Editorial Screening
The Co-Chief Editors or handling editor evaluates the manuscript for scope relevance, originality, ethical compliance, and methodological soundness.
  2. External Peer Review
Suitable manuscripts are reviewed by at least two independent experts in the relevant discipline(s).
  3. Editorial Decision
Based on reviewers' reports, the editorial decision may be:
    • Accept
    • Accept with minor revisions
    • Revise and resubmit
    • Reject

The journal strives to complete the peer review process within a reasonable timeframe, while prioritising quality and scholarly integrity. Reviewers' identities remain confidential at all times.
